Birmingham and the Black Country

West Midlands Airsoft is an indoor CQB arena at Monmore Business Park in Wolverhampton. Full-day walk-on is £37.50, or £52.50 with hire. The minimum age is 11; anyone aged 11 or 12 must have a parent or guardian on site, and a full face mask is mandatory for under-18s.

Precinct 13, a First and Only venue, is indoor CQB on the top floor of Park Place Shopping Centre in Walsall, with parking on the roof. Minimum age is 12; under-16s need a parent on site. Gunman at Frogmore Grange in Balsall Common, Solihull, charges £30 for own kit booked or £35 as a walk-on, and full face protection is mandatory for anyone under 18. Staffordshire

Sixmil Airsoft near Rugeley covers 60+ acres of mature woodland with purpose-built structures. Full day is £30, or £25 for members; minimum age is 12. Skirmish Hilton Park at Featherstone, just north of Wolverhampton, is over 50 woodland acres; own kit is £30, equipment hire is £45 for the day, minimum age 11. TM Airsoft also runs airsoft events here.

Frontier Airsoft UK runs team games in woodland in South Staffordshire; minimum age is 11. Op-Tac, The Kingdom at Huntley Wood near Cheadle covers over 200 acres - quarry, dense woodland, grassland, lakes and multi-level buildings - with events from open days to milsims and weekenders; minimum age is 11. Anzio Camp near Leek is a disused MOD barracks offering CQB and FIBUA across a large number of buildings; minimum age is 12. Templar Airsoft, near Congleton, is 60+ acres of natural woodland. North Staffs Airsoft at Manor Farm, Madeley, charges £25 for non-members. The Siege Project in Stoke-on-Trent is indoor CQB. Warwickshire

NPF Bassetts Pole, on the Sutton Coldfield edge of Birmingham in North Warwickshire, offers classic woodland airsoft with CQB encounters. Walk-on with own kit is £30; minimum age is 11.

Fireball Squadron is a separate airsoft club and woodland site at Bassetts Pole, also with CQB areas; non-member price is £30, minimum age 14. TM Airsoft at Cookhill, near Alcester, plays in woodland; own kit £30, hire £45, minimum age 11. The Jungle near Leamington Spa is First and Only's woodland venue at Harbury; minimum age is 12. Worcestershire

South Central Airsoft at Wapping Lane in Redditch, near M42 junction 3, is the only Worcestershire site we can describe. It combines a woodland setting with a CQB arena and is veteran-owned and family-run. We don't have a published walk-on price or minimum age; check its own website for current details.

Shropshire and Herefordshire

Ace Airsoft War Games is at Castle Wood, Tong, on the Shropshire side of the M54 near Wolverhampton. Game days in its woodland run once a month, usually on the last Sunday, across two contrasting game zones. Booking online is £29 for own kit; walking on without booking is £32, card only on the day. Minimum age is 12.

Rednal Combat at West Felton, near Oswestry, is set in original WW2 buildings with deep trenches, a double-decker bus and ex-army vehicles; it also runs paintball. Shropshire Airsoft War Games is at Netley Hall, Dorrington, south of Shrewsbury. Herefordshire has no site we can describe yet. City page: Telford and Wrekin.
