Nearby, The Yard at Llandybie has a large indoor CQB arena alongside outdoor woodland and urban-style areas. Pathfinder Airsoft Club plays at Aberdulais, near Neath. The nearest city page is Swansea.

Mid Wales

There's no city page for mid Wales, so this page is the place to start. Mid Wales Airsoft, at Abbeycwmhir near Llandrindod Wells, covers over 140 acres: mixed woodland, trenches, tank traps, bunkers, a village, a stream and Hamburger Hill. Games range from skirmish to milsim, and a game day is from £25. Under-16s take a short compulsory "young guns course" on their first day.

The Garrison at Frongoch Farm, Aberystwyth, and Delta 4 at Llandewi Ystradenny are both run by Aber Airsoft Events, which also runs Ammanford Airsoft. It takes bookings for all three on one page, and in its own words, "When booking a rental kit from us the walk on price is included!" Minimum age at its sites is 10.

North Wales and the border

Over The Top Airsoft Club is at Llannerch-y-medd on Anglesey, with over 100 acres from dense woodland to open wasteland, plus buildings, towers and bunkers. It runs skirmish days most weekends, and Battlesim and 24-hour-plus milsim events. Entry is £30 with your own kit if you book 48 hours ahead, or £35 on the day; hire is £40 booked. Minimum age is 12, and 12 to 14s need a parent or guardian with them.

The Ex Site plays on a 230-acre mountain near Mold, with woodland, buildings and quarries. Open days run every other Sunday, 9:30 to 4. A day is £30 with your own kit, or £35 for new players with hire and 1,000 BBs. It also runs night games and zombie events, which it says it has run since 2010.

Just over the border, Outpost at Lower Kinnerton sits "between Wrexham and Chester on the North Wales/Cheshire border", at what it calls a genuine Cold War military base. It's on our North West page. Rednal Combat near Oswestry is on the West Midlands page. For more, search from Wrexham.

How we check every Wales listing

We run every Wales listing against the UKARA and BAC registers every Monday. When we checked on 21 October 2026, most Wales listings were on the UKARA or BAC register. What a register listing means, and what it doesn't, is covered in what UKARA is.

A rolling website check reaches each listed site about once a week. If a site's website stops loading, we flag it on the listing so you know to ring before travelling.

We have listed airsoft venues since 2019. We list fields - we don't run games, sell guns or give legal advice.

Airsoft in Wales: common questions

Is there indoor airsoft in Wales?

Yes, at The Yard in Llandybie, near Ammanford, which has a large indoor CQB arena as well as outdoor areas. Most other sites named here describe outdoor terrain: woodland, a quarry or a mountain. CQB vs woodland explains the difference.

Where can I play airsoft in North Wales?

Over The Top on Anglesey runs skirmish days most weekends, and The Ex Site near Mold holds open days every other Sunday. Outpost, at Lower Kinnerton on the Cheshire side of the border, is on our North West page.

What does a day's airsoft cost in Wales?

Where sites publish a price, a full day with your own kit runs from £15 at Revolution on a Sunday to £30 at Over The Top and The Ex Site; most charge £25. Rental packages at most sites run £35 to £45. At Aber Airsoft Events' sites, the rental price includes the walk-on. See what airsoft costs for the UK picture.

How old do you have to be to play airsoft in Wales?

It depends on the site. Aber Airsoft Events sets 10 at The Garrison, Delta 4 and Ammanford Airsoft. Over The Top sets 12, and 12 to 14s need a parent or guardian with them. Read how old you need to be to play for the full picture.

Are the airsoft rules different in Wales?

No. Section 36 of the Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006 makes it an offence to make, sell or bring into Great Britain a realistic imitation firearm. There are defences, including insured "acting out of military or law enforcement scenarios for the purposes of recreation" (regulations 2 and 3 of SI 2007/2606). Section 66(5) extends sections 28 to 41 of the Act to Great Britain only, so these rules apply in Wales as in England and Scotland. Northern Ireland has separate firearms law. UKARA is a free register that lets a shop check you're a genuine skirmisher before selling you a realistic imitation firearm. It isn't a licence, and you don't need it to play. For your own situation, ask a solicitor or the police, or read airsoft and UK law.
