Airsoft Parties: Birthdays, Stag Dos and Groups

Airsoft parties in the UK: ages, prices, what's included and how booking works, from 43 airsoft sites' own websites. Plus stag dos, work days and vouchers.

Many UK airsoft sites run airsoft parties: birthday parties, stag dos and other group bookings. Some hire out the whole site or arena, and others put your group into a normal game day. The site's usual minimum age applies, usually 11 or 12. At the 10 of 43 sites that publish a price with hire included, it runs from £22 to £55 a head.

Figures come from 43 fields' own websites, checked on 5 October 2026. New to airsoft? Our guide to what airsoft is and how a game day runs is a good starting point.

Two ways to book airsoft parties: private hire or a game day

Airsoft parties work in one of two ways. Exclusive or private hire gives your group the whole site or arena, at a set time, usually with a minimum player count. Joining a game day means your group books onto a normal public session and plays alongside other players.

Of the 43 fields we checked, 18 offer exclusive hire, 19 let groups book onto a game day, and 9 do both. Scorpion Airsoft runs airsoft only as private sessions for 8 to 20 players, having suspended skirmish events for individuals in January 2024.

Private hire gives your group more control over the day. A game day suits a smaller group that does not reach a site's private minimum. How a site handles a group in a shared session varies: Skirmish Wycombe keeps groups together, while Players of War separates groups for the first games in the morning before mixing everyone in.

How old do you have to be for an airsoft party?

The site's standard game-day minimum applies to parties. No site in our set sets a higher age for an airsoft birthday party than for a regular game day. Across the 38 of 43 fields that state a minimum, the median is 11. Eleven and 12 are the two most common figures, each at 15 sites.

A handful of sites state a party-specific age. NTAC takes parties from age 8. Black Ops Bristol runs junior airsoft sessions for children aged 8 to 11, though its own pages also give 10 as the minimum in other places - check directly with the site. Commando Force Airsoft offers a target-shooting range party from age 9 and a CQB game party from 12, which is its standard game-day minimum. The range party is target shooting, not a skirmish.

For children below a site's airsoft age, six fields point to a different activity rather than airsoft. Scorpion Airsoft puts it directly: "For players aged 6-12/13, we strongly recommend Gel Blaster instead." The Mill NI offers Nerf for ages 5 and over. Battle Camp Activity Centre has a Nerf facility for ages 6 to 10. No Man's Land Airsoft offers gel blasters for younger children.

Few party pages state a parent rule. Scorpion requires a parent, guardian or nominated adult to accompany anyone under 14. Commando Force's CQB zone requires under-18s to be with an adult aged 21 or over. OP-Tac asks for "a responsible adult present" for birthday bookings. Elsewhere the game-day rule applies, and those range from Players of War, which does not allow under-16s at all, to District 23, which allows 12 to 17 year olds to be dropped off and left to play. Ask the site directly.

How old you have to be to play airsoft covers ages and consent in full.

How much is an airsoft party?

Ten of the 43 fields publish a per-head price with hire included:

FieldPrice per headDuration
The Mill NI£221 hour (rental)
Commando Force Airsoft£2590 min (CQB party)
Black Ops Bristol£27.502 hours (8-11s, group of 20+)
HQ Airsoft£28Not stated (private game day, minimum 15)
S51 Airsoft£303 hours (£300 per group of 10)
Scorpion Airsoft£32.443 hours (rental, incl. booking fee)
NTAC£40Not stated; kit inclusion not stated
Players of War£45Full day
Humber Airsoftfrom £45Not stated
Fife Wargames£55Not stated (private hire currently paused)

These are not like for like: duration runs from one hour to a full day. The median across the 10 is about £31 per head (our calculation). Three sites give a flat whole-site or arena price instead: The Killhouse at £200 for four hours (rifle hire charged separately), No Man's Land Airsoft from £250 for a midweek booking, and S51 at £300 for a group of 10 for three hours.

The price shifts with group size, day of the week and whether you hire kit. The Mill NI charges £22 for one hour, £30 for two and £40 for three. Scorpion charges £21.67 per head with own kit or £32.44 with hire. Black Ops Bristol's junior party starts at £30 per head and drops to £27.50 for a group of 20 or more.

Ten sites give no figure and quote on request: Airsoft Plantation, Battle Camp Activity Centre, Combat Action Games, Dragons Lair, Frontier Airsoft, Ironsight Airsoft, OP-Tac, Skirmish Wycombe, The Siege Project and TeamGreen Airsoft.

What a party package includes

Kit. Six sites include hire kit - gun, face protection and BBs - in their party or group price: Commando Force Airsoft ("weapon & kit hire, ammo, safety gear, free squash & water"), Scorpion Airsoft, Black Ops Bristol, HQ Airsoft, Players of War and S51. The exception worth noting is The Killhouse: its £200 private hire does not include rifles, which are charged on top.

BBs. Three sites describe their ammo as unlimited: Scorpion ("Unlimited Ammo!"), The Mill NI ("Unlimited ammo included") and Fife Wargames for private bookings. Black Ops Bristol gives 1,000 BBs per person; Players of War gives 3,000 rounds with hire.

Briefing and marshals. Scorpion lists "A full Safety Brief for all players", and OP-Tac "Experienced marshals". HQ Airsoft includes a "Dedicated marshal for your group" in its stag package. Airsoft Plantation includes a "first aid, fire and safety Marshal".

Party room. Only two sites mention one: The Mill NI hires its party room for £20 for 45 minutes after the session, and Commando Force includes 30 minutes of party room time in its party price. Both ask you to bring your own food and cake. Black Ops Bristol is the only site in the set whose party packages say food is included.

Extras. Scorpion includes a team photograph. HQ Airsoft adds a stag or hen certificate and "special missions & forfeit rounds". NTAC offers a birthday balloon run.

Group sizes and minimum numbers

Nine sites state a minimum player count for a private, party or corporate booking. They run from 5 (Commando Force's corporate days) to 20 (Skirmish Wycombe), and the median is 12. For private and party bookings: Black Ops Bristol and Scorpion 8, S51 8 (its site also gives 10 elsewhere), Humber Airsoft 12, NTAC and HQ Airsoft 15 (HQ's private game day). Seven sites state a maximum, ranging from 10 for Commando Force's CQB party up to 65 at The Mill NI from its booking widget.

A group too small for private hire can book onto a game day at the 19 sites that say they take groups that way. Some offer group deals there: FRV Airsoft waives the organiser's rental fee for a group of 15 or more. Humber Airsoft offers discounts for 20 or more. Killzone Airsoft sells duo, trio and quad tickets at a lower per-head rate, though these are for players with their own kit only.

One point on Skirmish Wycombe: if fewer than 20 players turn up on the day of a private booking, it charges the full private-hire fee regardless. Read the cancellation terms before you confirm numbers.

Booking, deposits and cancellation

Most sites handle party bookings by enquiry - contact form, phone or email. Revolution Airsoft and Battle Camp Activity Centre both work primarily by WhatsApp. HQ Airsoft prefers Facebook Messenger for group enquiries. Only four sites let you book a party or private session online: Commando Force (a calendar request system), Scorpion (FareHarbor), Black Ops Bristol (its own booking system) and The Mill NI (for party room add-ons).

Five sites name a deposit for party or private bookings. First & Only takes 50%, which is lost if you cancel inside 31 days. Commando Force takes 50% on confirmation, and Scorpion also takes 50%. NTAC charges a flat £50 non-refundable deposit. OP-Tac asks for a refundable security deposit of £200 for exclusive hire, though a separate clause in the same T&C section also says deposits are non-refundable - ask directly before paying.

Cancellation terms vary. NTAC requires at least 14 days' notice. Skirmish Wycombe gives a full refund only if you cancel 28 days or more ahead. Black Ops Bristol requires changes at least 14 days in advance. Players of War requires 48 hours. CQB Arena has a no-cancellation, no-refund policy.

Questions to ask before you book

Party pages leave a lot out. These are the questions to put to the site directly:

  • What is the minimum age, and do you need to see proof of age on the day?
  • Does a parent or guardian need to stay on site for the whole session?
  • Is hire kit (gun, BBs, face protection) in the price, or charged on top?
  • Is food included, or do you bring your own?
  • What is the minimum group size, and what happens if someone drops out?
  • What deposit is required, and under what conditions is it lost?
  • What is the cancellation period and what refund is available?
  • How long is the actual play time, compared with the time on site?

Airsoft stag and hen dos

Nineteen of the 43 sites name stag or hen dos. Private hire suits a stag do well - your group gets the site without strangers. HQ Airsoft has a dedicated stag and hen page and describes it as "no strangers on the day, just your crew", with a certificate and forfeit rounds included. Its stag price starts from £18 per head, the lowest group figure we found in the set; the site gives no breakdown of what it covers at that price.

OP-Tac has stag and hen pages and on-site camping pods at £140 a night, sleeping up to four people. S51 Airsoft bundles airsoft with axe throwing in its dearer stag-package tiers.

Alcohol. Twenty of the 43 sites state an alcohol or drugs rule. None allows drinking before or during play, and none relaxes that rule for a stag group. OP-Tac is direct about it: "Airsoft and alcohol do not mix on the field for safety reasons, so play comes first." Black Ops Bristol describes itself as "strictly a drug- and alcohol free venue" and says anyone arriving under the influence will be asked to leave without a refund. Plan the drinks for after the session.

The airsoft rules guide covers the safety brief every player gets.

Work and team days

Twenty-three of the 43 sites name corporate events or team building. Two publish a price: HQ Airsoft charges £28 per head for a half day and £38 for a full day, with "VAT not applicable" noted on its corporate page. Commando Force Airsoft starts from £100 per head for four hours with a minimum of five people.

Six sites explicitly offer weekday private hire: Humber Airsoft (Monday to Saturday), Airsoft Plantation (seven days a week), No Man's Land Airsoft (midweek), The Killhouse (Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday evenings), S51 (mid-week or weekend) and HQ Airsoft (weekdays for corporate bookings).

No site mentions invoices, so ask when you enquire if you need one.

Gift vouchers and experience days

Fourteen of the 43 sites sell gift vouchers. Amounts vary across the sites that publish a figure: Gunman Airsoft from £5 to £200, No Man's Land Airsoft from £25 to £300. Expiry dates differ too: Tac House Spartan sets expiry at three months after purchase, while Black Ops Bristol's airsoft session voucher is valid for one year. Check the expiry before buying one as a present.

No site in the set sells a fixed-price "airsoft experience day" as a product. Vouchers buy a standard game day or session at the issuing site.

Airsoft, paintball or Nerf for a party?

Airsoft's standard minimum age is usually 11 or 12. For children below that, six of the 43 sites point towards Nerf, gel blasters or low-impact paintball instead - different activities with different kit, not a lighter version of the same game. For a mixed-age group, check whether the younger children's option is at the same site.

Our airsoft vs paintball guide compares the two on cost, age and kit.

Find a site for your party

Our listings link each site's own website, where party details and booking routes live. We do not filter by sites that take parties, so check each site's own pages for current availability and pricing. Browse airsoft fields by city, or search by postcode on the Airsoft Fields homepage.

Sources. All figures come from the websites of the 43 fields listed below, checked on 5 October 2026. Sites change their offers, prices and rules, so check directly before booking. The 43 lean towards organised, well-documented sites with a working website and a published power limit; smaller or social-media-only sites are not in this set and may take parties without publishing anything about it. "Not stated" does not mean a site does not offer it.
